I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado since 2001.  I have a Bachelor's of Science in Education, a Master's of Arts in Counseling, and a Juris Doctorate degree. I have an integrated approach to therapy and I am informed by a variety of counseling methodologies including client-centered, psychodynamic, and internal family systems.  I enjoy being with my family and spending time outdoors walking, hiking, and sitting by mountain streams.  I also like traveling, especially to the ocean.  I am an avid reader and enjoy drinking tea while immersing myself in a good book.  I am passionate about supporting and celebrating cultures different from my own and I am intentional about my own learning and growth.  I have lived in Guatemala and speak proficient Spanish.
